Amy Kiiskila
Director of Wealth Strategy
Amy Kiiskila is the Director of Wealth Strategy at Annex Wealth Management.
As Director of Wealth Strategy, Amy is responsible for the delivery of advanced planning strategies and services for Annex Private Client. She works collaboratively with clients, Wealth Managers, and external CPAs and attorneys to provide guidance to affluent families, business owners, and corporate executives to create holistic plans centered around goals of personal wealth management, legacy, and philanthropy. Her focus areas include estate planning and wealth transfer, business transition matters, tax efficiency, and philanthropic goals.
Prior to joining Annex Wealth Management, Amy was a Partner in the Wealth Planning group at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, where she worked with individuals and business owners to achieve their estate planning, business planning, and financial planning goals. Amy also previously worked at Northwestern Mutual, as Vice President of Advanced Planning. She began her career at Arthur Andersen as an auditor.
Amy attained her BBA in accounting from St. Norbert College and her JD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Amy is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional and CPA and holds her CLU® designation.
Amy is active in various industry and community organizations, including the Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum, the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County, and the Catholic Community Foundation. She lives in Wauwatosa and enjoys biking, hiking, yoga, and hanging out with her two teenagers, Kelsey and Landon.
Brian Lamborne
Senior Wealth Strategist
Brian Lamborne is a Senior Wealth Strategist at Annex Wealth Management.
As a Senior Wealth Strategist, Brian works collaboratively with clients, Wealth Managers, and external CPAs and attorneys to provide guidance to affluent families, business owners, and corporate executives to create holistic plans centered around goals of personal wealth management, legacy, and philanthropy. His focus areas include business planning and transition matters, estate planning and wealth transfer, tax efficiency, and philanthropic goals.
Brian has spent his career consulting with clients and their advisors on business, income tax, succession planning, and estate planning matters. He has worked in the financial industry in the Advanced Planning Group at a national financial services company, and the Nautilus Group at a prominent insurance firm. Prior to the insurance firm, Brian worked for a national income tax consulting firm doing income tax and estate planning for small and mid-sized business owners.
Brian graduated from Albion College with a degree in Psychology. After several years doing tax defense work, he graduated from Roger Williams School of Law and then received his LLM in taxation from the University of Washington. He passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7).
Brian lives in Milwaukee with his dog, YubNub. He enjoys playing golf, hockey and guitar and hanging out with family and friends.
Brian Jacobsen
Chief Economic Strategist
Brian Jacobsen is Chief Economic Strategist of Annex Wealth Management.
As Chief Economic Strategist, Brian provides insight and leadership to Annex’s clients and its Investment Committee, which guides client portfolio construction and investment philosophy. An accomplished writer and speaker, Brian’s perspective and expertise have been featured nationally on networks like CNBC and Bloomberg. He has also appeared on Annex’s “Money Talk” weekly radio program in the past.
Brian scored an academic hat-trick by attending the big three universities in Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a law degree from Marquette University Law School. Brian has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®), and the Certified Business Economist (CBE®) designations. Before working at Annex Wealth Management, Brian worked as a Senior Investment Strategist and as a Chief Portfolio Strategist. He was also an associate professor at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
In his spare time, Brian is an Instructor of Practice at Marquette University and enjoys staying active with just about any outdoor activity, lifting weights, and watching his son play soccer and viola. Additionally, if he isn’t reading, writing, or playing with his dogs, he is playing games with his extended family who all live in the area.

Anthony Mlachnik
Senior Wealth Advisor
Anthony Mlachnik is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Annex Wealth Management.
As Senior Wealth Advisor, Anthony serves as an Annex ambassador, introducing individuals, families, and businesses to the firm’s full range of capabilities. He leads the discovery process—learning each prospective client’s goals, priorities, and financial circumstances—to determine how Annex can best serve them.
Anthony is also a member of the Annex Investment Oversight Committee. In Anthony’s former roles he led investment research, investment selection and asset allocation, in addition to being on the Strategic Investment Committee. Anthony holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as well as the Behavior Financial Advisor designation. Anthony received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Business and Economics.
Anthony has 20 years in the financial services industry and over 15 years of private wealth management. Prior to Annex, Anthony worked with clients and advisors alike; he led a regional office and a private client team and worked on firm growth initiatives. At Annex, Anthony supports firm-wide growth trajectory of sustainable growth in support of continuous improvement while deepening tools and resources for clients. Leveraging Anthony’s leadership experiences, Anthony will assist Annex Wealth Managers with training, development, and mentoring.
A next generation figure in the community, Anthony is a member of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce Leadership Council. He serves as a Board Member at Saint Thomas More High School and Co-Founder of 24:Up, Inc.’s Institute of Basketball, which focuses on developing future leaders through the team sport of basketball. Anthony is an active supporter with Children’s Wisconsin and many different non-profits around the community. Anthony was recently recognized by BizTimes Media Non-Profit Excellence as a Next Generation Leadership Award finalist as well as receiving the Patriot Award given by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
Anthony and his wife Kelly have four children and enjoy time together, with extended family, and friends. If you don’t find Anthony around the community, you’ll probably find him on a sports field or basketball court in his off time!
